Hi, my name is Fergal Dunne I’m a Sports Performance Mindset Coach from London UK. I provide in person workshops for athletes of all levels who wish to improve their training using professional mindset techniques and strategies. I look forward to you joining me for an educational and entertaining workshop.
As a sports performance mindset coach, I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Psychology, an IAFPD Primary Certificate in Performance Coaching, an England Athletics Coaching Assistant Licence and a Certificate in Mental Wellbeing in Sports & Physical Activity.
I take a collaborative, in person and enjoyable approach to mindset coaching through workshops. By working in a group environment you can overcome obstacles, improve skills and through development and understanding learn about sporting mindset goals. You will engage directly with the sports performance mindset coach and other athletes with similar priorities.
I was born in Birr, county Offaly, Ireland. I am a Sports Performance Mindset Coach based in London, with 10 years running experience in Ireland and the UK. I have competed in over 200 competitive races in road, cross-country and track at various distances from 800m to the marathon. Ranked in the top 10 runners in the Irish Defence Forces 1994, I have represented Ireland at World and European Masters Championships. With thousands of kilometres training time, the workshops combine professional qualifications with personal experiences and a passion for running. Currently training for the Cyprus Marathon 2025.
With the assistance of a sports performance mindset coach you can begin a journey to acquire a deeper understanding of how mental practice works in sports. Attaining new skills will assist in determining positive outcomes and in doing so begin to own your sporting mind.
When you are in control of your mind then you can begin using these new found practices, becoming mentally stronger and take your sporting achievements to a higher level. As a more mentally confident athlete you can stimulate your mindset to work for you in motivational ways you didn't think possible
Once you achieve a positive sporting mindset you will want to continue to use it, to do so requires maintaining a healthy mind. Maintenance of a healthy sports mind requires good habits, a healthy lifestyle and focus on well-being.
